Milky way – first steps in wide lens astro photography

The images are only 30s of exposure time. Obviously I have to shoot more photos and stack them next time, to reduce the image noise. A better lens would also help of course.

But I am quite satifsfied with the results for a quick first try. There are a lot of visible details that are not visible with the bare eye. You can clearly see bright spots and dark shadows of the Milky Way, some star clusters and also the Andromeda galaxy.
